1960 Cessna 150 (No Letter) S/N 17887 *** Own a Piece of Cessna History. Rare Legacy Aircraft, Very few left! ONLY 354 PRODUCED!
I am unable to complete this beautiful antique aircraft so i must sell at a loss. Have invested a lot of time and money, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I must walk away.
Regretfully, incomplete log books. Only have from 1989 until present.
Even if you just wanted to Part her out :( you would make money. The engine is strong and ready to go. Most avionics are fully functional, but have not tested VOR lately. Loads of new parts and tons of rework done to restore it to be able to fly. Had intended to install new interior and paint until after it became airworthy, although the current state is still decent.
At last inspection found an issue on the wings near the leading edge of the stringer at the fuel tanks and decided to walk away with my loss. Was told Is a common issue for this era aircraft and was told by the Maintenance facility the repairs would be mostly labor, and that is is repairable if I want to. One of the pictures shown has the Wing issue notes from the mechanics.
The parts in question are: 0426300 Spar Assembly Wing Front LH 0426300-1 Spar Assembly Wing Front RH 0426300-2 Channel Assy Spar Inboard LH 0426300-3 Channel Assy Spar Inboard RH
Located in parts manual figure 2 and 2A. Manual can be found in the shared drive. Link is attached.
For the serious buyers, More of the issue and documents can be found in the google shared drive (link Below) with the other pictures, a small startup video and some maintenance documents including what I have paid for so far

Please Keep in mind that this aircraft can be repaired and is a collectors item, not an aircraft to get your pilot license in. If you have an A&P friend who could replace or repair the wing sspar by the fuel tanks, or do it yourself if you are qualified, it would be a fun piece of history. As I have stated, There has been a lot of work completed, and a lot of new parts, but some of it still needs to be inspected as the shop had closed down. Without peeling the leading edges off each wing, it would be difficult for me to provide a repair estimate,
