This Piper PA22-108 Colt, s/n 22-9246 (N5467Z), was donated to us (WingsofHope.ngo) in May 2016
and ferried from Indiana to our airport, KSUS (Chesterfield, MO) in October 2016. That was the last time it has flown. We removed the battery at that time in order to preclude corrosion issues. Due to IRS donation rules, we could not sell it for 36 months. The aircraft has 3,493 Total Time on the Airframe and Engine. The last annual inspection was performed in November 2010. Installed avionics include the King KX-175B NAV/Com and King KT-76 Transponder. The fabric appears to be in good condition, though the finish is a bit oxidized, and is overall beige with light blue stripping. The interior is also in good condition: light gray fabric and vinyl upholstery with fabric and painted side panels. The headliner is light gray and shows well. Engine History:
The Lycoming engine (0-235-C1B, s/n L-8064-15) has 3,493 hrs total time. The time SMOH is 955 hrs. The major overhaul was performed in Sept 1975 and a top overhaul was performed only 80 hrs ago, in Nov 2010, with chrome cylinders. The Sensenich propeller (M-76AM-48) appears to be original. We performed engine runs and cylinder compression checks on May, 16, 2019. The compressions were 78, 78, 78, 74. Here are links to the logbook scans
