1964 American Champion 7ECA/150 Citabria with a Lycoming O-320-A3B Project!
Here up for bids is this very nice low hour Citabria with a low hour Lycoming 150 h.p. engine
Aircraft has a total time of 1890hrs!!
The Citabria is a light single engine two seater airplane with a fixed gear. Designed for flight training, utility and personal use, it is capable of aerobatic stresses from +5g to -2g. Its name "Citabria" spelled backwards "Airbatic"
It features wood spar wings and oleo shock main gears. Powered by a 150hp engine, this aircraft is sporting some late model changes that definitely make it stand out from the rest!

Now this beautiful plane sustained damage when it went off the runway and overturned in the dirt. Damage is typical to what you would find, bent prop, crushed spinner, broken windshield, fabric torn on wings and a bent rudder. One side lift struts are bent, I didnt see any damage to the firewall but the skins on either side near the firewall are a little disorted, this will need to be looked at. The GOOD!
No other fuselage damage, no gear damage, no tail damage besides the rudder, no firewall or engine mount damage. Engine should pass inspection. This is a really nice Citabria, a classic really!
Aircraft is being sold where is as is, no warranties are given expressed or implied. Buyer to determine airworthiness of aircraft and such parts needed. I can store the aircraft up to 30 days free after close of auction, I can also assist with loading. Any questions feel free to ask.
