THIS AIRPLANE, BEING A 1965, HAS THE MODERN SQUARED SIDE WINDOWS, WHICH HELPS TO LENGTHEN THE LOOK OF THE FUSELAGE SIDES, AS WELL AS ELIMINATES THE OLD FASHIONED "HUMPED" LOOK OF THE EARLY "C" AND "E" MODELS
THIS AIRPLANE HAS BEEN FURTHER UPDATED WITH THE MOST DESIRABLE MOD FOR THE EARLY MOONEYS, A SLOPED, 201 STYLE WINDSHIELD !!!

SOME WEAR SHOWING ON THE RIGHT FRONT SEAT, BUT THE OTHERS ARE QUITE NICE, AS WELLL AS THE SIDE PANELS AND THE HEADLINER, SO OVERALL IT WILL CLEAN UP GOOD
THE DASH HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH SOME MODERN FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS, AND HAS A GOOD 4 PLACE PS ENGINEERING AUDIO PANEL INSTALLED, WITH MUSIC INPUT !!

THIS AIRPLANE SUFFERED DAMAGE, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY, TO THE FRONT END AS A RESULT OF THE NOSE GEAR FOLDING UP ON LANDING ROLL-OUT.
THE GEAR FOLED AS A RESULT OF ONE OF THE ROD ENDS FAILING. THIS DID NOT DAMAGE OR AFFECT THE REST OF THE SYSTEM, THE MAIN GEAR OR THE GEAR MOTOR ASSEMBLY
THE FOLLOWING DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED:
BOTH NOSE GEAR DOOR HAVE A 2-3" SCRAPED AND DENTED AREA IN THEM. SHOULD BE REPAIRABLE, AS THE BALANCE OF THIER STRUCTURE IS NOT DAMAGED
THE CENTER SECTION OF THE LOWER COWL, IN THE AREA OF THE AIR FILTER, IS SCRAPED AND DENTED. THIS WILL REQUIRE SOME SKIN REPLACEMENT, OR REPLACEMENT OF THIS ONE SECTION MIGHT BE CHEAPER, AS THEY ARE COMMONLY NOT HURT IN FULL GEAR UP LANDINGS, AND THEREFORE PLENTIFUL
THE REMOVABLE LOWER SIDE CHEEKS AND THE UPPER COWL ARE UNDAMAGED, AS IS THE COWL CLOSURE SPEED PANEL
THE TWO COWL FLAPS HAVE LIGHT SCRAPING TO EACH
THE EXHAUST PIPE IS SLIGHTLY DENTED AND SCRAPED AT THE LOWER TRAILING EDGE
THAT IS THE TOTAL AND COMPLETE AIRFRAME DAMAGE TO THIS AIRPLANE FROM THIS INCIDENT
WE DID FIND ONE FLAP HANGER BRACKET SLIGHTLY SCRAPED, PRESUMABLY FROM ANOTHER INCIDENT LONG AGO, BUT NOT FROM THIS INCIDENT. FLAPS ARE FINE, AND THEY HAVE BEEN ANNUALING IT LIKE THIS FOR YEARS
SPEAKING OF ANNUALS, THIS AIRPLANE IS NOT A SITTER, LAST ANNUAL WAS PERFORMED 6/2014, SO IT JUST NOW WENT OUT OF ANNUAL !!
THE 2 BLADE HARTZELL PROP HAS SCRAPING ON BOTH BLADES AS A RESULT OF THE GEAR ISSUE, AND BOTH WILL REQUIRE REPLACEMENT.
THE HUB HAD RECENTLY BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW "B" STYLE UNIT, WHICH HAS NO AD"S AGAINST IT, SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO RE-USE THAT IF YOU CAN
THE SPINNER AND BACKING PLATES SUSTAINED NO DAMAGE AND ARE INCLUDED
THE AIRFRAME TOTAL TIME IS A REASONABLE 5200
THE IO-360 A1A, WIDE DECK, 200 H.P. ENGINE HAS ONLY 478 HOURS SINCE OVERHAUL IN 2007
THE PROP HAS 174 HOURS SINCE OVERHAUL WITH THE NEW HUB
THE AIRCRAFT IS LOCATED AT THE MIDLOTHIAN TEXAS MID-WAY AIRPORT, JUST SOUTH OF DALLAS
