Overview This 1966 Piper PA23-250 Aztec, S/N 27-3232 (N6045Y) is a low wing six-place twin engine aircraft with wing tip extended range fuel tanks. The aircraft features a white exterior with two tone blue stripes and a nice gray vinyl and cloth interior. It comes with full deicing and a windshield hot plate. One engine is a low time engine, and both propellers are very low time. See details below. This plane is offered for sale as a project. During a January 2015 annual inspection, the right engine was found to be expelling aluminum flakes to the oil supply. We believe those flakes are probably coming from the piston pin cap, but we have not torn the engine down to confirm that. Airframe logs are complete from 1966 to the present, and engine/propeller logs are complete from date of installation to January 2015 when an annual inspection was conducted and IFR Certification was completed.
