THIS IS A FACTORY 285 H.P E-33A BONANZA STRAIGHT TAIL (FORMERLY DEBONAIR)
BY 1968, BEECHCRAFT HAD STOPPED MAKING THE LOWER PERFORMING DEBONAIR SERIES, AND OFFERED THE E-33A WITH THE SAME ENGINE, EQUIPMENT LEVEL, AND FEATURES AS THE V-35B V-TAIL.
THESE DESIRABLE FEATURES INCLUDE:
FRAMELESS SIDE GLASS (THIS AIRCRAFT HAS HEAVIER THAN STOCK, FOR A QUIETER CABIN)
SPEED SLOPE WINDSHIELD, PROVIDES MORE SPEED, IS QUIETER, AND LOOKS BETTER, FROM INSIDE AND OUT

THIS AIRCRAFT HAS 5,100 HOURS TOTAL TIME SINCE NEW.
THE IO-520-BB ENGINE HAS ONLY 978 HOURS SINCE BRAND NEW !!!
THIS AIRCRAFT SUFFERED DAMAGE WHEN THE LEFT BRAKE GRABBED, ALLOWING THE AIRCRAFT TO VEER OFF THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY, AND BEFORE THE PILOT COULD COMPLETELY STOP THE AIRCRAFT"S FORWARD MOVEMENT,THE NOSE WENT THROUGH A DITCH AND HIT AN OBJECT.
DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO:
THE PROPELLOR HAS 2 BLADES DAMAGED. THE 3RD BLADE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE DAMAGED OR BENT AT ALL
THE NOSE GEAR UPPER CASTING IS BROKEN, AND THE NOSE GEAR DOORS ARE BOTH BENT.
THERE IS DAMAGE TO THE NOSE GEAR WELL SIDE SKINS, AND THE SIDE CHEEKS ARE WRINKLED ON BOTH SIDES.
AS THE NOSE GEAR DID NOT COLLAPSE COMPLETELY, THE NOSE BOWL SEEMS TO HAVE ONLY VERY LIGHT, SUPERFICIAL DAMAGE, AND SHOULD NOT REQUIRE REPLACEMENT. SIMILARLY, THE COWL FLAPS AND EXHAUST ALSO APPEAR UNDAMAGED.
THE BALANCE OF THE FUSELAGE, INCLUDING THE BELLY, WING ATTACH POINTS, TAIL AND TAIL-FEATHERS APPEAR TO BE UNDAMAGED.
THE LEFT WINGTIP IS SCRAPED ON THE LOWER EDGE AND THE PLEXIGLASS COVER IS BROKEN, BUT THE SCRAPES ON THE OUTBOARD UNDERSIDE OF THE WING STRUCTURE ITSELF HAS ONLY SUPERFICIAL SCRAPES AND SCRATCHES, AND WILL NOT REQUIRE REPLACEMENT. NO SPAR DAMAGE OR WRINKLING.
THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR DID NOT COLLAPSE OR SUSTAIN DAMAGE, AND THE ONLY DAMAGE TO THE LEFT SIDE IS TO THE SHORT ACTUATOR ARM. BOTH THE INBOARD AND OUTBOARD MAIN GEAR DOORS ON BOTH SIDES ARE UNDAMAGED, AS ARE THE MAIN GEAR WELL SKINS ON BOTH SIDES.
THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ANY DAMAGE TO THE WING OR TAIL CONTROL SURFACES.THE PITOT TUBE IS SCRAPED SLIGHTLY, AND THE MOUNT IS BENT, BUT THE WING SKIN LOOKS OK
INSIDE, IT IS EQUIPPED WITH THE BEST AUTOPILOT, THE KFC-200 WITH KCS-55A HSI AND FLIGHT DIRECTOR !!
