“For Parts” |
Make: | Cessna | Model Year: | 1968 |
1. This aircraft cannot fly due to bad SPAR from Cessna due to recent bulletin; Inspection revealed pitting corrosion that caused the grounding of the aircraft.2. The engine and the prop have been removed and are up for sale; however they are for sale locally and are NOT part of this listing. 3. Most of the avionics have been removed and sold locally. 4. I have the total and complete set of logs with me for the aircraft.5. The seats and rails have been sold separately.
This aircraft a Cessna Centurion 410DD needs to have someone take it on as a project or part it out. It has been hangared since I purchased it several years ago and remains hangared at this time. Bid on it as though it is only a shell with no avionics, no engine, no seats, no seat rails and no prop.
I will not send additional photos as I do not have any more photos of the aircraft. It will be your responsibility as the buyer to remove the aircraft within one month of the sale date and you will have to present here at PNS, Pensacola, FL and remove the aircraft. The starting bid is $1000, so please don"t ask me to do anything else related to the listing.
The aircraft is being sold as is/where is with no warranty expressed or implied and this is a binding contract and all applicable rules apply. Please bid accordingly on this item. I am basically hoping someone will take it on as a project and save it, as I would like to see the aircraft fly again, but I simply don"t have the time or money to devote to the restoration of the SPAR. If you have any questions, please contact me. The airplane is in good condition for its age and worth a whale of a lot more than a hundred dollars if you need parts for you aircraft or you can restore it.
You are welcome to present here to PNS to inspect the aircraft PRIOR TO AUCTION CLOSE and speak to my mechanic about the airplane. Keep in mind, though, all avionics of value will be removed prior to picking the aircraft up. Gear door actuators are New-surplus and will NOT be included in the sale. Everything on the airplane works except landing gear were intermitent; hence the replacement actuators at the time the aircraft was taken down for engine work, then for Cessna inspection. Somebody is going to get an airplane in great shape except for the SPAR for very little money to restore. The POWER PACK was recently rebuilt and reinstalled and IS part of the auction.
Finally, I reserve the right to end the auction early as the aircraft is also for sale locally.
I never saw any history of damage with this aircraft in the logbook or accident history that was of any significance. It is possible that I overlooked something in the logs, but I am fairly certain there has never been anything major in the way of incidents or accidents involving the aircraft and certainly not recently. Also, I flew the aircraft for just over 100 hours and loved every second of it. Feel free to personally inspect the logs if you need to in person PRIOR TO CLOSE OF AUCTION. The controls will remain with the aircraft including both yokes (control colums) and both have PTT on them. Some of the wiring (20 hours since installed new) will remain in the dash related to the PTT"s etc. The aircraft is registered with the FAA and the TAIL NUMBER GOES WITH THE AIRPLANE, as I will transfer that to you as soon as I am paid in full.
The prop logs and engine logs will go to the purchaser of THE ENGINE and the prop, not with the aircraft; however, you are welcome to present here to PNS and copy them or read them; the AIRCRAFT LOGS go WITH THE AIRPLANE and to the purchaser.
PLEASE READ THIS! THE LAST BUYER DID NOT PAY THE DEPOSIT AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSED; I HAVE RELISTED THE ITEM: YOU MUST PAY $1000 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT WITHIN ONE HOUR OF CLOSE OF AUCTION! DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM IF THIS IS GOING TO BE A PROBLEM FOR YOU!! YOU MUST CONTACT ME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE TO ARRANGE A SCHEDULE THAT WORKS FOR BOTH OF US TO REMOVE THE AIRCRAFT AND PAY THE REMAINDER OF THE BALANCE.
THE BALANCE WILL BE DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF CLOSE OF AUCTION. THE AIRPLANE MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE HANGAR WITHIN 30 DAYS or you can arrange with the hangar company to keep it stored there, but I will not be involved in any way in that process.
Airplane is totally free and clear of all liens and ready to transfer to you!
Happy Bidding! Feel free to ask questions.
