You are bidding on a really nice little Mooney M20c that received some damage as a result of the pilot retracting the landing gear on takeoff. The damage to the belly of the aircraft is very minimal and the prop has been replaced with a serviceable prop for ferry flight. There will be nothing for the new owner to do in order to fly it to his/her home base for final repairs. It can even be flown home with the gear retracted as we saw no evidence of any issues with the landing gear. This is fairly common in cases where the pilot forgot to lower the landing gear. The plane is located in Ft Myers, Florida at the moment but we can help with transportation to anywhere in the country if needed. We can also do the repairs for the new owner if so desired but it will need to be repositioned to Morristown Tennessee as that is where we are located.
There are three flats skins that need to be repaired on the belly and the step will need to be replaced as well. The step area will need a bulkhead replaced as well. The skins and the bulkhead we have here in Tennessee and you are welcome to those pieces. Give me a call as I have an estimate from a very reliable sheet metal mechanic locally who can do it fairly reasonably and quickly.

This plane doesn"t seem to have spent much time in Florida at all. In 2006 it was registered in new York and in 2008 it was then sold to a gentleman in Michigan.
