THE 1969 MODEL 140"S LIKE THIS ONE HAVE A MODERN DASH LAYOUT:

THIS ONE HAS THE OPTIONAL 4 SEAT INTERIOR !!
OVERALL GOOD LOOKING AIRPLANE, WITH BLUE STRIPES OVER WHITE ON THE OUTSIDE, AND BLUE CLOTH AND VINYL INTERIOR
THE FLIGHT AND ENGINE INSTRUMENTATION IS ALL INSTALLED AND INCLUDED, BUT SOME OF THE RADIO PANEL UNITS ARE REMOVED, AND ARE NOT INCLUDED, SO YOU ARE FREE TO INSTALL MODERN ITEMS OF YOUR CHOOSING.
THIS AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED ISOLATED DAMAGE WHEN IT WAS PUSHED BY HIGH WINDS BACKWARD INTO ANOTHER AIRCRAFT, WHILE PARKED AT THE SILSBEE, TEXAS AIRPORT (JUST NORTHEAST OF HOUSTON)
THE DAMAGE IS ALL LIGHT, AND ALMOST ALL UNDERNEATH THE AIRPLANE, SO THE AIRPLANE APPEARS UNDAMAGED WHEN YOU LOOK AT IT !
THE AIRPLANE WAS PUSHED BACKWARD BY THE WIND, AND RODE UP OVER PART OF ANOTHER AIRPLANE, WHICH CAUSED THE FOLLOWING DAMAGE:
THE MOST SERIOUS DAMAGE IS TO THE UNDERSIDE SKINS ON THE HORIZONTAL STABILATOR, AS THE LOWER SKINS HAVE TEARS IN THEM. LUCKILY, THE STABILATOR IS NOT AN EXPENSIVE ITEM, AND THE ATTACHMENT POINTS ON THE AFT FUSELAGE APPEAR UNDAMAGED.
THE FIBERGLASS TAILCONE LOWER CAP IS CRACKED (JUST SCREWS ON
THE RIGHT WING UNDERSIDE HAS SOME SMALL DENTS AND A SCRAPE IN THE SKIN, NOT AFFECTING THE SPAR OR OTHER STRUCTURE. THESE AREAS COULD BE PUSHED OUT, OR FILLED, OR PATCHED, OR ANY COMBINATION OF THE 3 METHODS
THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE RIGHT FLAP IS SLIGHTLY PUSHED UP, AND WILL REQUIRE SOME STRAIGHTENING, BUT THE FLAP SPAR AND FLAP ATTACHMENT POINTS APPEAR OK
THE LEFT WING WAS PUSHED DOWN AS THE RIGHT WING AND TAIL WERE PUSHED UP, AND THERE IS SCRAPING TO THE LEADING EDGE BOTTOM OF THE FIBERGLASS WINGTIP, AS WELL AS A LIGHT SCRAPE TO THE OUTBOARD WING SKIN (SHOWN)
THE ONLY OTHER ISSUE IS THE NOSE FORK, WHICH APPEARS BENT FROM THE SIDE LOAD, AND ONE NOSEWHEEL HALF, WHICH IS DAMAGED
THE 0-320 150 H.P. ENGINE HAS BEEN REMOVED, ALONG WITH ALL OF THE BOLT ON ACCESSORIES AND PROPELLOR, AND THESE ITEMS ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT THE WIRING, CONTROL CABLES AND ALL FIREWALL MOUNTED ITEMS, AS WELL AS THE UNDAMAGED ENGINE MOUNT ITSELF, ARE INTACT AND INCLUDED.
THIS AIRCRAFT WILL ACCEPT 150, 160 AND 180 H.P. ENGINES, WITH SIMPLE FIXED PITCH, OR EVEN CONSTANT SPEED PROPS, SO YOU HAVE LOTS OF CHOICES FOR ENGINES WHEN YOU ARE READY TO PURCHASE, EITHER FROM US OR THE WORLD !
THE BEAUTY OF THIS PROJECT IS THAT THE AIRPLANE IS INTACT, NOT A BASKET CASE, AND THE REPAIRS ARE ALL BOLT-ON, EXCEPT FOR THE SMALL AMOUNT OF DAMAGE ON THE LOWER LEFT WING, AND NONE OF IT REQUIRES JIGGING OR MAJOR WORK.
GLASS IS ALL INTACT, AND THERE IS NO VISIBLE DEBRIS DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT, ALTHOUGH WE DID SEE THE OCCASIONAL LIGHT HAIL PINGS.
