THE 1972 MODEL 140"S LIKE THIS ONE HAVE A MODERN DASH LAYOUT:

THIS ONE HAS THE OPTIONAL 4 SEAT INTERIOR !!
THE PILOT"S SEAT HAS THE OPTIONAL AND DESIRABLE VERTICALLY ADJUST FEATURE
WINGTIPS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO METCO STYLE "HORNER" TIPS, WHICH INCREASE SPEED AND ALLOW FOR GREATER CONTROL DURING LANDING.
ALSO ADDED ARE WING TO FUSELAGE "FILLET" FAIRINGS, WHICH ALSO INCREASE CRUISE SPEED
THE WHEEL PANTS NOT ONLY MAKE THE AIRPLANE FASTER, BUT A CHEROKEE WITHOUT THEM REALLY LOOKS "UNFINISHED"
THIS AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED ISOLATED DAMAGE WHEN IT WAS PUSHED BY HIGH WINDS BACKWARD INTO ANOTHER AIRCRAFT, WHILE PARKED AT THE CHANDLER, ARIZONA (PHOENIX) AIRPORT.
THE DAMAGE TO THE FUSELAGE IS ONLY TO THE AFT TAILCONE, WHICH IS BUCKLED ON THE LEFT SIDE, AND SLIGHTLY DENTED AT THE BOTTOM AFT EDGE.
THE FIBERGLASS LOWER TAILCONE CLOSE-OUT IS ALSO BROKEN
THE DAMAGE TO THE TAILCONE IS TO THE LEFT SIDE ONLY, AS THE RIGHT SIDE IS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT, AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO.
THE DAMAGE TO THE SIDE OF THE TAILCONE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN FROM AN IMPACT TO THE FIBERGLASS TIP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HORIZONTAL STABILATOR !!!
THE FIBERGLASS IS CRACKED, BUT THE STAB ITSELF LOOKS TOTALLY STRAIGHT!!
THERE IS A SMALL BEND IN THE OUTBOARD AFT EDGE OF THE RIGHT TRIM TAB, BUT THIS IS JUST A FOLDED SKIN, AND SHOULD STRAIGHTEN OUT FINE.
THE ONLY OTHER DAMAGE TO THE WHOLE AIRPLANE IS THE LEFT AILERON SKIN, WHICH IS DENTED ON THE TRAILING EDGE.
THE WING IS NOT DAMAGED IN THIS AREA, OR AT ALL, ON EITHER SIDE, AND THE FLAPS, RIGHT AILERON AND TIPS WERE NOT DAMAGED
THE LANDING GEAR IS ALSO ALL UNDAMAGED, INCLUDING THE WHEEL PANTS (LEFT TIRE IS FLAT)
THIS AIRPLANE WAS JUST ANNUALED 7/2015, SO THE ANNUAL IS GOOD UNTIL 7/31/2016 !!
THE O-320 150 H.P. ENGINE HAS ONLY 810 HOURS SINCE MAJOR (2000 HOUR TBO). THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLOR OR ENGINE, NO PROP STRIKE OR SUDDEN STOPPAGE !!!
GLASS IS ALL INTACT, AND THERE IS NO VISIBLE DEBRIS DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT
ALL FLIGHT AND ENGINE INSTRUMENTATION LOOKS GOOD.
IT IS THE VERY RARE 140 THAT HAS AN AUTOPILOT INSTALLED, BUT THIS ONE DOES !!
THE AUTOFLIGHT 2 SYSTEM IS SIMILAR IN FEATURES AND DESIGN TO THE S-TEC 20 AND 40, AND IT PROVIDES WING LEVELING AND RADIO TRACKING FOR A STRESS RELIEVER ON CROSS-COUNTRY TRIPS.
ONCE YOU HAVE FLOWN A CHEROKEE WITH AN AUTOPILOT, YOU NEVER WANT TO GO BACK, BUT THEY ARE EXPENSIVE, AND REALLY EXPENSIVE TO INSTALL !!
THIS AIRPLANE IS ALREADY EQUIPPED !!
