1973 PIPER PA-34-200 SENECA I, 8199 TTAF, ALMOST NO DAMAGE TO AIRFRAME, CHEAP PROJECT OR PARTS. THE SENECA HAS BEEN A POPULAR TWIN SINCE IT"S INTRODUCTION. WITH A LARGE COMFORTABLE CABIN LIKE THE SINGLE ENGINED CHEROKEE 6, BUT WITH TWIN ENGINE PIECE OF MIND, MORE POWER (200H.P. X 2) AND A LARGE NOSE BAGGAGE AREA IN ADDITION TO THE CAVERNOUS REAR PASSENGER CARGO AREA WITH IT"S OWN FULL SIZED DOOR IN THE BACK. THIS AIRCRAFT SUFFERED ONLY VERY LIGHT DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF THE NOSE GEAR OVER-CENTER LOCK FAILING ON LANDING ROLL-OUT. THE SCRAPING TO THE LOWER FORWARD PORTION OF THE FIBERGLASS NOSECONE IS THE ONLY DAMAGE THAT THIS AIRFRAME SUSTAINED !! BOTH ENGINES SUFFERED PROP STRIKES, AND SINCE THEY WERE HIGH TIME UNITS ANYWAY, THEY WERE UNBOLTED, AND ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PROJECT. THE AIRFRAME OTHERWISE IS COMPLETE AS SHOWN BOTH COWLING SETS. BOTH UNDAMAGED ENGINE MOUNTS BOTH WINGS, CONTROL SURFACES AND TIPS ALL 3 LANDING GEAR ARE OK, INCLUDING THE NOSE GEAR, WHICH SIMPLY FOLDED BACK UP INTO ITS WELL. THE ONLY ISSUE WOULD BE THE WORN OVER CENTER LOCK. THE REST OF THE FIBERGLASS NOSE CONE IS STRAIGHT, AND THE SCRAPING DAMAGE ON THE ONE LOWER SPOT IS EASILY REPAIRABLE. THE FLAPS HAVE AN AREA OF WORN/CORRODED SKIN WHERE THE EXHAUST FLOWED OVER THEM, BUT THE REST OF THE AIRPLANE DOES NOT HAVE A CORROSION ISSUE. DURING WING REMOVAL, THE RECOVERY TEAM (NOT US) CUT THE CONTROL CABLES GOING OUT TO BOTH WINGS. WE WISH THEY HADNT, BUT THEY DID. INSIDE, THE 6 SEAT GATHERED LEATHER INTERIOR IS IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE, EXCEPT THE RECOVERY PEOPLE HAD DIRTY HANDS, SO THERE ARE GREASY HANDPRINTS ON SEVERAL OF THE SEATS. THEY SHOULD CLEAN UP WITH ELBOW GREASE. THE DASH IS BASICALLY COMPLETE, AS SHOWN, WITH MOST FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS AND ALL ENGINE INSTRUMENTS. LATE STYLE RAMS HORN YOKES AND DUAL TOE-BRAKES, OF COURSE. THIS AIRPLANE HAS ONLY THE SMALL AREA OF ISOLATED DAMAGE SHOWN, IT IS NOT CRASHED. SOLD WITH FAA BILL OF SALE AND AIRFRAME LOGS SINCE 1994 (EARLIER LOGS NOT INCLUDED, SORRY) STORED IN OUR HANGER AT THE GLENDALE, ARIZONA AIRPORT, OUTSIDE OF PHOENIX. WE WILL PROVIDE STORAGE FOR 30 DAYS AT NO CHARGE, AND THEN $8 PER DAY THEREAFTER GREAT PROJECT, FIX IT UP TO USE FOR PASSENGERS, FREIGHT, OR AS A GREAT TWIN TRAINER. GOOD BIDDING
