I cannot continue flying and need to sell this airplane. Airplane has been flown very minimally in the last seven years due to financial difficulties. It is out of annual but since it has less than four hours since its last annual I will guarantee an annual with no complications. The last annual was extensive since before that it had been out of annual for four years. Before that and before my financial difficulties (recall the meltdown of 08) it was flown regularly. I have owned and have been THE ONLY OPERATOR OF THIS AIRCRAFT FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS.
Must get a ferry permit or annual plane on the field. Plane is airworthy and had an extensive annual in 2012 and minimal time since so it should be no issue to ferry.
Plane"s paint was new in 96 but is old and tired now and flaking off now I would rate it a 6/10 it could be touched up buffed and salvaged short term but long term needs a paint job
Interior was NEW including carpet and headliner and all new leather in 2003 has some fading now but still very nice 8/10
Engine is SUPER STRONG and lots of life left 1300 SMOH and Prop is 15 years old but has less than 200 hours 3 blade!! Prop replaced in 2000
No corrosion and no damage history (obvious)
Obviously screaming out for WAAS approved GPS but that is for new owner
SQUAWKS: VERY FEW!!altitude hold works but needs to be trimmed down (on flight director to locktransponder was intermittent but working so bring a back up (super cheap on ebay). Needs to be solid as it is based outside DC restricted airspace.button on Michaels radio to change frequency is broken by seat recline. lock is not good on door handle and it needs servicing, door handle on cargo door needs service very tightOTHER WISE THIS AIRCRAFT IS GOOD TO GO
The original logs were lost in 2011 in a move. Every annual before that (12 total in the last 20 years) had the logs available (I have copies of some of those annuals and many receipts over the last 20 years). There is a guy on the field who has performed at least four of the annuals since the 90"s and knew my and the plane since it was purchased. Don"t ask me stupid questions like where are the logs (if I knew I would not be selling it w/o them). Lack of original logs is well priced in!! I am the same owner of this aircraft for 20 years and it is on the same field. Engine, prop and Total time accurate.
