1974 CESSNA 337G, 3707TT, 179/278 SFREMAN, 401/401PROPS, BEAUTIFUL, NO DAMAGE, IN ANNUAL, CHEAP !!THE 337 SKYMASTER IS A UNIQUE AIRPLANE. TWIN SECURITY, BUT IT FLIES LIKE A BIG SINGLE !! THE FORMER OWNER OF THIS AIRPLANE, A VIETNAM HELICOPTER VET, HAD HOUSES IN 2 STATES. HE WANTED A COMFORTABLE AIRPLANE THAT WOULD GIVE HIM RELIABILITY BECAUSE HE FLEW OVER POPULATED AREAS, SO HE WANTED A TWIN, BUT THE ACCIDENT RECORD OF THE COMMON LIGHT TWINS CONCERNED HIM, SO HE MADE THE LOGICAL CHOICE, AND BOUGHT THIS LOW TIME 337. THAT WAS 15 YEARS AGO. HE SLATHERED THIS AIRPLANE WITH MONEY AND ATTENTION THE PAINT JOB IS EYE- CATCHING BRIGHT WHITE WITH MEDIUM BLUE STRIPES IN A NEAT SCHEME. EXCELLENT CONDITION, ALWAYS HANGERED, SHINES LIKE A NEW PENNY TINTED GLASS IS FLAWLESS BLACK LEATHER 4 SEAT INTERIOR, WITH LARGE REAR BAGGAGE AREA BOTH ENGINES ARE CONTINENTAL FACTORY REMANUFACTURED (WHICH MEANS ZERO TOTAL TIME), AND HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO THE LATE STYLE CASES AND FRONT MAIN BEARINGS ) G1B AND G2B FRONT ENGINE WAS JUST DONE 4/2014 AND HAS 179 SINCE FACTORY REMAN. REAR ENGINE WAS DONE 2/2013 AND HAS 278 SINCE FACTORY REMAN. PROPS WERE BOTH OVERHAULED 11/2011 AND HAVE 401 SINCE OVERHAUL EACH JUST ANNUALLED 07/2016, THIS AIRPLANE IS STILL IN ANNUAL THE FORMER OWNER STOPPED USING THE AIRPLANE IN 2016, WHEN HE SOLD ONE OF HIS HOUSES, AND HE TIRED OF PAYING EXPENSES FOR AN AIRPLANE HE NO LONGER USED. WITH PLANS FOR A LONG TRIP OVERSEAS, HE WANTED TO SELL IT QUICKLY, WHICH IS HOW WE ACQUIRED IT. IF YOU REGULARLY WATCH OUR EBAY LISTINGS, YOU KNOW THAT MOST OF OUR AIRPLANES ARE PURCHASED FROM INSURANCE COMPANIES, AND MOST HAVE AT LEAST SOME DAMAGE. THIS AIRPLANE IS DIFFERENT ! BOUGHT DIRECT FROM THE OWNER NO RECENT OR MAJOR DAMAGE HISTORY BOTH ENGINES ARE PERFECT, AS ARE BOTH PROPS IN ANNUAL THE ONLY AIRFRAME ISSUE IS REALLY A NON-ISSUE, BUT I PROMISED THE FORMER OWNER I WOULD MENTION IT 14 YEARS AGO, AT THE FIRST ANNUAL THAT THIS OWNER HAD DONE, AN UNAPPROVED AND IMPROPER SPAR SPLICE WAS FOUND ON THE LEFT WING. RATHER THAN ATTEMPT ANOTHER REPAIR, THE SHOP FOUND A GOOD REPLACEMENT WING, AND INSTALLED IT ON THIS AIRPLANE. THE WING CAME FROM A 1972 "F" MODEL, WHICH SHOWS TO BE INTERCHANGEABLE WITH THE "G", AND IT HAS FLOWN FINE FOR 14 YEARS AND 14 ANNUALS, WITH MULTIPLE SHOPS, BUT IT IS NOT IDENTICAL TO THE RIGHT WING !! A MECHANIC WHO WAS PERFORMING AN ANNUAL YEARS AGO NOTICED THAT THE RIVIT SPACING IS DIFFERENT ON ONE ROW BETWEEN THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT. HE DIDNT CARE, HE JUST MENTIONED IT AS ODD. IT DOESNT MATTER NOW EITHER, BUT I WANTED YOU TO KNOW !! THE INTERIOR IS NICE, AS YOU CAN SEE, AND THAT BIG AIRSTAIR DOOR IS SUPER EASY TO USE, AND A FAR CRY FROM PULLING YOURSELF UP AND ONTO THE WING OF A 310 !! NOW THE OTHER SHOE HAS TO DROP ! THIS AIRPLANE IS FOR SALE REALLY CHEAP, BUT IT DOESNT INCLUDE AVIONICS.THE LAST GUY PUT IN WHAT HE WANTED, BUT THEY AREN"T INCLUDED, SO YOU GET THE "FUN" OF INSTALLING WHAT YOU WANT OR NEED !! WISH YOU COULD HAVE A G-500 DISPLAY AND A 750, BUT CAN"T BUY AN AIRPLANE CHEAP ENOUGH TO HAVE THAT MAKE SENSE? HERE"S YOUR PLANE. IF GARMIN 530WAAS/430WAAS RADIOS AND AN UPDATED SANDEL DIGITAL EFIS MIGHT BE ENOUGH, YOU ARE IN LUCK !! TRAYS FOR THOSE UNITS, PLUS A 340 AUDIO PANEL AND 327 TRANSPONDER ARE INCLUDED AND WIRED !! YOU MUST ADD YOUR OWN RADIOS, BUT THEY ARE READILY AVAILABLE IN THE MARKETPLACE, EITHER FROM US OR OTHERS. LOTS OF COOL STUFF IS INCLUDED, LIKE: EDM 760 EGT/CHT DIGITAL SCANNER FOR BOTH ENGINES, WITH FUEL FLOW/TOTALIZER FOR BOTH ! DUAL DIGITAL TACHS CD PLAYER !! ALL OF THE FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS SHOWN, INCLUDING CO-PILOTS INSTRUMENTS, AND ABSOLUTELY ALL OF THE ENGINE INSTRUMENTATION, BAR NONE ! THE WAAS ANTENNAS ARE EVEN STILL MOUNTED !!
