I am offering for sale this solid, honest airplane that I have owned since 2012. This was my first airplane and I flew it 400 hrs in these 4 years. Previous owner was also from Socal. It is a trouble free aircraft that I used for flying at least twice per week. It took me and my family to Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Caribbean, NYC, Chicago and so many other fine places.
Last year we purchased a Mooney and since then I only flew this one sporadically. I flew it only 50hrs during the past 12 months, so I am thinking it is time to go so I can channel all my resources into the other plane.
Starts right up, uses less than 1qt oil for 10hrs flight time. Radios work decent. I have a Narco 890 DME that is in the w&b but I have no 337 for it.
Good things:- new parts in recent history: battery, alternator, 3 tires, seats upholstery, radio overhaul (Bevan/Rabell), ingition wiring harness and plugs, some plastic trim panels inside (dash, door, rar cargo area, propeller (zero hrs in 2012), air ducts, throttle cable- flies straight with ball in the middle, no outstanding issues to be corrected- two VORs and one glide slope, two MX-300 nav/coms, NARCO 890 DME- cup holder :-)
Bad things:- got a bent spar in 2012 when the wing tip clipped a fence. I replaced the affected panels and a 337 was filed with FAA- flew it more than 350 hrs since this incident- one of the engine logbooks (from 1991 until 2008) went missing long time ago
I can deliver the plane anywhere in North America for fuel + a plane ticket back to LA.
