THIS WRINKLED THAT AFT STABILATOR SKIN, AND ALSO WRINKLED THE AFT LEFT SIDE SKINS OF THE FUSELAGE SLIGHTLY
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS I TOOK, THE SKINS ARE NOT SERIOUSLY DEFORMED, (THE IMPACT WAS SLOW, AND WITHOUT A LOT OF FORCE), AND THE PLASTIC TAILCONE FAIRINGS (JUST REPLACED WITH NEW AND REPAINTED, BUT NOT YET STRIPED) ARE UNDAMAGED, AS IS THE REST OF THE STABILATOR, TIPS AND TRIM TABS.
AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS SHOT INSIDE THE TAIL, ONLY ONE OF THE STRINGERS SEEMS TO HAVE A KINK, AND IT IS AT THE FAR AFT. THE REST OF THE DAMAGE IS JUSTLIGHT SKIN DEFORMATION, WHICH CAN PROBIBLY BE CAREFULLY MESSAGED OUT !!
THE BENT STABILATOR TRAILING SKIN WAS STRAIGHTENED, AND THIS AIRCRAFT HAS RECENTLY BEEN FERRIED IN THIS CONDITION, AND I WOULD CONSIDER IT SAFE TO FLY ANYWHERE, AS IS, FOR FINAL REPAIRS
