Airplane was tied down outside in Kansas in 2013 when it was damage during a hailstorm. All repairs were made at the local FBO. A stabilator from a donor plane was used and does not match the paint scheme. There are still superficial hail dents, but nothing that affects airworthiness. While it was being repaired, LoPresti wing tips with lights were added. New windshield installed. Everything was completed to return this plane to flying, it was even put in annual after the repairs were made, but hasn"t been flown. The only thing I had left to do was have it painted, but unfortunately situations change and it never happened.
Shortly before the hail storm damaged the plane, I was having some oil usage issues, so I had compression tests ran between annuals and discovered several cylinders were low. All low cylinders were replaced with remans and it ran and performed great after that, and the oil usage problem disappeared. Unfortunately I only got to fly it a couple more months before it was damaged.
Previous to my ownership a 337 repair was made to a wing resulting from hangar damage. I could see the repair if I looked, but it certainly doesn"t stand out.
I"m asking less than I spent on the repairs as our situation has changed and our company has no current or foreseeable need for this airplane. This would be a good one to pick up cheap and paint it the way you want it.

Airplane is sold as is/where is. New owner responsible for new annual inspection. Airplane is currently located in Abilene KS (K78). Has been hangered since repairs. Current date: 2019-07-31
