You are bidding on a 1974 Piper Warroir. I have owned this airplane for a little over 13 years now and have flown it very regularly. It has not been a rental or a trainer. I purchased the airplane in 2002 for $32,500 with a tbo engine and flew it for about anouther 400hrs before I had the engine overhauled to new specs by a very reputable shop near Gary Indiana, G & N. I have a reserve on this airplane but it is WELL below the price I paid for this airplane and has a strong just over midtime engine now. The aircraft has approx 6,000TT and the engine is 1410 SMOH done in 2004. This is a bullet proof engine! It uses almost no oil between oil changes that were done at 50hr or less intervals and the compressions at last annual were 76,78,78,80. I really hate parting with this airplane but its time to sell since Ive completed building my RV7A. The plane has been hangared the entire time Ive had it. The paint and interior are original except that I recently spent $600 on adding some new plastice parts; the rear vent channel and new vents; two new floor strips in front of pilot seats; one new door molding, new seatbacks; and Ive repaired a couple other plastic parts. Overall, Id say the paint and interiors are a 6. Everything looks fair to good in appearance. The plane has a couple small hangar rash dings that were on the airplane when I bought it in 2002 and they were so small I never worried about them. The plane is equipped as follows and you can see everything pretty well in the pictures.
