The B19 Sport is an outstanding training aircraft, a fun family cruiser and can even certified for light aerobatics. I can"t think of a more rounded aircraft you could buy. Dual cabin doors and a super wide cabin make it extremely enjoyable to fly. We have invested a lot more money in this plane than planned but need to move inventory to free up funds for other purchases. The reserve is set extremely low, ensuring this to be the cheapest B19 you"ll ever buy. You can truly fly it for a few years and several hundred hours and likely make money when you sell it. I know several people who have done just that. I bought my first plane many years ago, a very similar but older Beechcraft B23, for $23,000, flew it for a couple hundred hours and sold it for $27,000.
**FRESH annual inspection just completed May 2015. This was not a cheap annual at all. In addition to the typical maintenance, a ton of new parts were installed. The rear tailcone was replaced as the old one was cracked (*pictures show both the old and new tailcone*), a new vacuum pump and brand new full exhaust system were installed. Additionally, we purchased a new KLN-89 GPS to replace the one with the burned out screen.
AIRFRAME Plane is in bad need of a bath and good cleaning at the time the pictures were taken. This is a remarkably straight corrosion free airframe with only 3100 hours since new - showing that it was not a well used flight school trainer in a previous life. The controls are crisp and tight, unlike those you"d find on a high time airframe and it"s one of the smoothest flying planes I"ve seen. The pilot who flew it back for me said it held heading and altitude better than anything else he"s ever flown (and he"s flown a LOT). You simply cannot beat Beechcraft quality. It has a few blemishes, a couple of light hail dings but nothing major. The paint is old and faded but will clean up somewhat with a good washing and some wax - we"ve already started that process but pictures were taken before cleaning. The glass is clear with a few areas of stop-drilled cracks. Low time engine runs amazingly well and it has a very nice IFR panel in it. Tires are almost new and are the most expensive Michelin tires on the market. With 60 gallons of fuel, you can fly a long, LONG ways in this plane and buy it where it"s less expensive. These planes have a door on both left and right side, one of the widest cabins you can find, dual toe brakes and a center mounted throttle quadrant making them a real joy to fly. Your passengers will enjoy the second door as will your instructor if you use it for flight training.
AVIONICS
Previous owner spent over $9000 to install the current panel and overlay just a few years ago.

* Narco AT 150 Transponder
Also includes dual glideslope indicators, horizontal compass, electric flaps and a very well laid out, FULL IFR panel.
ENGINE The wide deck 150 hp Lycoming O-320 engine runs like a sewing machine and has less than 900 hours since major overhaul. This means you can fly it for several hundred hours, sell it to upgrade and not be anywhere near to the 2000 hour recommended TBO time, most likely making a profit when you sell it or trade to upgrade. It has a spin on oil filter to extend oil change intervals and the engine life. There are no major oil leaks and oil consumption is insignificant as we haven"t put a drop in it since annual last month. New silicone baffling installed recently. The O-320 is by far one of the most dependable and economical engines you can fly behind. There"s a reason this engine came in most Cherokees and Cessna 172"s.
