EGTAIRCRAFT DETAILS:
AIRCRAFT IS HANGARED AT KOPN - THOMASTON / UPSON COUNTY AIRPORT IN THOMASTON, GEORGIA.
THE LAST ANNUAL EXPIRED IN SEPTEMBER, 2008. THE PREVIOUS OWNER FELL INTO HARD TIMES WITH THE RECESSION AND WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN THE AIRCRAFT IN ANNUAL INSPECTION. THIS PLANE LITERALLY SAT COMFORTABLY IN THE SAME ENCLOSED AND PADLOCKED T-HANGAR UNTIL IT FIRST SAW THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR THESE PICTURES.
I AM NOT UTILIZING EBAY TO "UNLOAD" PROBLEM-RIDDEN RAMP QUEENS OR USE CATCHY MARKETING TO LIST "PROJECTS" THAT CLEARLY ARE WAAAY BEYOND ECONOMICAL REPAIR. THIS IS A PLANE THAT HAS ESSENTIALLY BEEN IN A TIME CAPSULE WAITING TO BRING INCREDIBLE VALUE TO ITS NEW OWNER.
I HAVE NOT PERFORMED ANY INSPECTIONS AND NO MAINTENANCE. BOTH ENGINES HAVE BEEN RUN AND NO ISSUES NOTED. THE AIRCRAFT IS OFFERED AS-IS WITH ALL FAULTS KNOWN OR UNKNOWN AND WITHOUT A CURRENT ANNUAL INSPECTION.
AS WITH ANYTHING MECHANICAL (ESPECIALLY AIRPLANES), THERE IS SURE TO BE SQUAWKS THAT WILL NEED SOME LEVEL OF ATTENTION, BUT THERE ARE NO KNOWN SERIOUS MECHANICAL ISSUES WITH THE PLANE OR ENGINES. IT"S IS AS SIMPLE AS WHAT YOU READ ABOVE.
PROSPECTIVE BUYERS SHOULD ASSUME IT WILL REQUIRE A COUPLE DAYS TO DO A THOROUGH INSPECTION AND BASIC MAINTENANCE BEFORE THE FERRY FLIGHT.
UNFORTUNATELY THE NATURE OF EBAY AUCTIONS DO NOT ALLOW MUCH TIME TO COORDINATE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS, ETC FOR PROSPECTIVE BUYERS. .. BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR BID IS A BINDING OFFER TO PURCHASE THE AIRCRAFT NOOOOOOOOT A FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL. A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $2,000.00 IS DUE IMMEDIATELY AT AUCTION CLOSE. BUYER MUST COMPLETE PAYMENT IN FULL (CASH, CHECK, WIRE TRANSFER) WITHIN 10 DAYS OF AUCTION CLOSE. I WILL COVER HANGAR ARRANGEMENTS FOR 30-DAYS FROM AUCTION END. NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WILL BE LEFT FOR FAILURE TO COMPLETE TRANSACTION. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I MUST FOLLOW THIS POLICY STRICTLY ON BEHALF OF PROSPECTIVE BUYERS/BIDDERS. IT IS UNFAIR TO OTHER"S TO SQUANDER THEIR CHANCES AT WINNING THE AUCTION DUE TO NON-PAYMENT. Current date: 2017-08-09
