For your consideration is a 1976 Bellanca 8KCAB Decathlon. This aircraft was involved in a small accident. The left side of the elevator was bent along with a prop strike. The wing strut was also damaged. The Lycoming 150 HP engine will require a teardown to properly inspect the engine. This does not require a total disassembly. The rear accessory case will have to be removed and crankcase keyway replaced. However, a used serviceable prop will have to be replaced. This Decathlon is in good condition and has a custom paint job. This aircraft is fully aerobatic with a -3G and +5G rating. This bird can be repaired on the field which is located in Milton, Florida. The TTAF is unknown. The engine has 531 hrs TT and 531 hrs SMOH. There are only basic VFR radios. Parts are fairly common for the Decathlon and will need an A & P who is good with fabric covering. The fabric covering (ceconite) work is limited to only the left elevator only. As far as the business end of this transaction, I will require a deposit of $5,000.00 and settlement within 7 days. To make transactions efficient and secure, I utilize an Aircraft Title Company in Oklahoma City, OK. They are AOPA approved and typically cost $550 to facilitate the transaction. They check for liens and file all paperwork directly to the FAA. I would be willing to split the cost. I do not use paypal. The annual inspection was performed on 9/1/2019. This aircraft will make a great looking and performance machine for the aerobatic pilot.
