Cessna C-172M 1976 light project. This A/C drifted away from the Runway and ended up in the soft rain soaked sod 6 months ago. I acquired this A/C with undecided intentions, located a wing in my hometown and decided to offer as a flyer versus taking it apart for good and ultimately removing one more Aircraft from the fleet which happens all too often. Damage was incurred to the left wing. The upper cabin structure has not been compromised nor has the nosegear to firewall attach structure. Wheel pants were not installed when the problem occurred, they are fine and set in place for picture purposes. Airframe time is is at 9,569.1 hours Engine Is an O-320-E2D S/N L-42628-27A TT 6,679.6 hours TSMOH 2,617.1 hours on a hi quality Penn Yan O/H. The Prop was compromised and has been to a prop shop in town and returned to good as new with O/H paperwork, the crankshaft has been dial indicated and found to be perfect which is the good part. Engine has since been run with the O/H prop reinstalled.
•Radio equipment includes a Narco 165 replacement for the ARC transponder, this has a digital display and will show what altitude the encoder is sending to ATC. •Also included is a King Audio panel KMA 26 with mounting tray not yet pictured. •A King 135 Com/GPS included but not wired in yet. •Replacement wing included and is from a 172M with a fuel tank installed.
•Assistance available for wing swap along with a log entry. A/C out of Annual by a month so a Ferry flight home not an issue. This airplane is not mint, new ones are in the 300K and shine nicely, this one could very well clean up and polish to a medium luster and hold it for a few months.
