First off, these 172RG"s are hard to find for a reasonable price, secondly, they are even harder to find when they weren"t beat up by commercial/instrument students....and they are also hard to find with low airframe hours! This one has it all. Sure, it needs a annual, ADS-B, and could use a Garmin 430/650....but a fresh annual and a 430W and a 330ES transponder won"t cost you more than 10k installed with a fresh annual, then you have a 65K plane all day long!
Excellent maintenance on this bird! Long range 66 gallon tanks...excellent useful load!
I purchased this plane as part of a estate. The owner passed away in late 2018 and the annual expired about 18 months ago, along with the IFR cert a few months ago. The airplane got a new battery and typical 100 hour items done...no metal in the filter and the plane was flown 100 hours a year up until that point. It has a top end that has new cylinders, mags, and such, so compressions are all 75/80 and higher. I"d expect to not have to overhaul the motor for another 1000 hours or so. Its a O-360....as long as the cam is good they"ll run forever.
The gear got a new power pack a few years ago and plane has excellent oil pressure.
The plane has no damage history, no corrosion issues, the logs are complete, but a airframe logbook is missing, 2000-2010? or so I believe...I have copies of some those annuals...but nonetheless...its missing.. There is nothing more to it then the owner suddenly passed away and the family was unsure what to do with the plane...and somehow couldn"t immediately find that log book. If they find it for me...I"ll pass it on. But as of now it"s missing.
Plane runs great, everything seems to work great, flies like a low time airplane that it is. Airplane has a clean 4/22/20 title search. Will be sold with a FAA 8050-2 bill of sale. I won"t fly it to your location for a pre-buy...come check it out.
I found a 182RG for a great price so I"m selling this plane at a blowout...recession price.
I can ferry this plane to you anywhere in the lower 48 States....pride of ownership really shows in this plane!
Give me a call....lets make a deal 630-200-3860!
