R E A D EVERYTHING
I am helping my friend sell this COMPLETELY redone 1980 Cutlass II. The owner is a Medical Doctor (Gynecologist). His practice keeps him very, very busy therefore I will be taking calls and emails to answer any questions you may have.
This is an opportunity to get an amazing Retractable. Dr. B. has owned this beauty for about 5 years. He made it almost new: Sent it out for a $12,000 paint job, sent it out for a complete interior redone including the "headliner". The engine was also sent for overhaul about the same time he got it. He added an engine analyzer at an approximate cost of $10k. Dr. B is willing to reduce the price by $3,000 if he removes the Engine Analyzer. Aircraft is a little dusty but you could see the amazing shine of the paint. Glass was replaced all around. Aircraft was Soundproofed.
This is his baby. He wanted to make it "as good as new" As you could see by the pictures of the inside of the hangar he has A LOT of toys (Boat to go to Bahamas, 4 motorcycles, etc) and can"t put too many hours on all of them. Times are: Total time is around 8,000 but if you inspect this airframe very closely you will think it has a lot less time. The engine (O360, 180hp) and Prop have under 200 hr. Annual Inspection was done this month, January 7th, at the most reputable shop here at KORL in Orlando, Florida where it is based. He has not been flying as much as he would like because of his Private Practice. It is in the hangar most of the time. He is flying now maybe twice a month and I come to the hangar, take it out and taxi it around once every week.
It flies smoothly and has the look and feeling of a lot newer airplane. It is for sale because Dr. B was thinking about investing a lot more money in avionics but decided that he is getting a Twin instead. (Another toy) His wife said to him that if he wants her in the airplane it has to have "more than one engine".
Radios are KX175B, KT76A transp. There is a Navomatic 300A AutoPilot
This is a very, very nice aircraft. You can contact me for any questions. I can show you the aircraft but Test flights will be only with a deposit. If you don"t like it then you get the deposit back after landing. I have to coordinate with him on your behalf. We reserve the right to end the auction early if we get an offer that we are happy with, so call and let me know. Any offer, upon acceptance, requires a deposit that will be refunded if you find anything wrong with the airplane and will not be refunded if you do not come to inspect it.
