1981 Cessna 152 airplane. Over 1500 SMOH, somewhere around 9000 TTAF, Tailbeacon ADSB, compressions good, two overhauled cylinders just installed. Have had it since 2006, used it as a personal plane to build hours and get CFI certificate. Want to upgrade to faster IFR equipped airplane to practice instrument flying and get better at weather flying. Always has been a reliable airplane, but its not the prettiest plane on the ramp. It still looks ok from a distance though. It could probably use some paint in a few years. It"s a grower not a shower for sure because the plane will grow on you after flying it. On the other hand, if you want to pull up to the FBO in style, this might not be the plane to do that in. If you want a good, trustworthy workhorse plane to learn and/or instruct in, this might be the one.
