THIS IS THE LAST OF THE SERIES, BUILT IN FEBRUARY OF 1986, THE LAST YEAR OF CESSNA SINGLE ENGINE CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION. MOST OF THE 206 SERIES WERE USED LIKE WORK HORSES, SO MOST HAVE LOTS OF TOTAL TIME MOST ARE NORMALLY ASPIRATED, WITH 285 H.P. ENGINES THIS AIRPLANE IS NOT LIKE MOST 206"S ONLY 825 HOURS TOTAL TIME SINCE BRAND NEW !! WE HAVE LOGBOOKS BACK TO THE BEGINNING, THE AIRWORTHINESS SIGN-OFF !! ORIGINALLY DELIVERED TO MINNESOTA, WHERE WIPLINE 3730 FLOATS WERE INSTALLED. EXPORTED TO CANADA IN EARLY 1988, WHERE IT STAYED UNTIL 2015, AS A WEALTHY MANS TOY. EVERY FALL THE FLOATS WERE REMOVED AND THE AIRPLANE PICKLED FOR OVERWINTER INDOOR STORAGE. EVERY SPRING IT WAS UN-PICKLED AND THE FLOATS REMOUNTED. USED FOR 10-20 HOURS EVERY SINGLE YEAR. RETURNED TO THE U.S. REGISTRY IN 2015, AND GIVEN THE REGISTRATION NUMBER N206SS TOTAL TIME AIRFRAME SINCE NEW IS NOW ONLY 825 HOURS THE TSIO-520M 310 H.P. ENGINE WAS REPLACED WITH A RAM NEW LIMITS OVERHAUL IN 2010 THE ENGINE NOW HAS ONLY 169 HOURS SINCE RAM OVERHAUL THIS MIGHT BE THE LOWEST TIME T206G IN THE WORLD !! BUT IT IS HURT. WHILE SITTING ON THE FLOATS IN NASSAU BAHAMAS, IT WAS FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN BY HURRICANE MATTHEW. WE WENT TO THE BAHAMAS AND CONTAINERED THE AIRPLANE BACK TO MINNEAPOLIS, AND IT IS NOW IN ONE OF OUR SECURE HANGERS. FROM THE TIME THE AIRPLANE WAS FLIPPED TO MINNEAPOLIS, IT HAS REMAINED UPSIDE DOWN, AND WE ONLY CAREFULLY FLIPPED IT AND PADDED THE BELLY YESTERDAY IN IT"S CURRENT RESTING SPOT. THE REASON FOR THE UNORTHODOX SHIPPING? THERE IS NO BELLY DAMAGE TO THIS AIRPLANE !!! FROM THE UNDAMAGED LOWER COWL/KEEL, TO THE BELLY BEHIND THE CABIN, THE ENTIRE BELLY IS COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED !! AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS, THE TAILCONE BEHIND THE REAR WINDOW, AFT OF THE CABIN IS RIPPED AND TORN. AMAZINGLY, ALL OF THE GLASS IS INTACT, AND THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ANY DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OR REAR CARRY-THROUGH SPARS IN THE ROOF. THERE IS A SHALLOW DEPRESSION IN THE UNSUPPORTED AREA OF THE CABIN TOP, BUT NOT TO ANY OF THE STRUCTURE THE WINDSHIELD POSTS, DOOR POSTS AND REAR WINDOW POSTS ARE ALL STRAIGHT. THE FRONT DOOR AND THE REAR DOUBLE DUTCH DOORS ARE ALL UNDAMAGED, AND CLOSE AND LATCH TIGHTLY. THERE IS NO AIRFRAME TWISTING OR DEFORMATION VISIBLE FORWARD OF THE DESTROYED TAILCONE THE TOP COWL IS ALSO UNDAMAGED, WITH THE FIBERGLASS UPPER NOSEBOWL THE ONLY ISSUE, WITH A SMALL AMOUNT OF SCRAPING FROM THE DEFORMED SPINNER THE WINDSHIELD IS UNCRACKED THE TAIL FEATHERS ARE DAMAGED, BUT INCLUDED THE LEFT WING IS INTACT, BUT DAMAGED, INCLUDING A BUCKLE IN THE REAR SPAR THE RIGHT WING IS SEPARATED OUTBOARD OF THE STRUT ATTACH POINT, BUT BOTH SPARS LOOK GOOD OUT TO THAT POINT. YOU WILL NOTE THAT THE WINGS HAVE STC"D WING EXTENSIONS ONE LIFT STRUT LOOKS GOOD, THE OTHER IS BENT. INSIDE, THE DARK RED LEATHER INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL SEATS EVEN STILL HAVE ORIGINAL HEADRESTS THE DASH IS COMPLETE WITH ALL FLIGHT AND ENGINE INSTRUMENTS EXCEPT THE TURN CO-ORDINATOR AND HSI SYSTEM. THERE IS NO WATER DAMAGE OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE INSIDE, AS THE WINDOWS ARE ALL INTACT !!
