From what I can discern from the logbook, the airplane is a 1991 kit that was completed by John R. Stewart of Greer, South Carolina,
in 1995 to 1996, then issued an airworthiness certificate in 1996.
After that, it apparently saw very little use until it was sold to the present owner, Ken.
Ken flew this aircraft once or twice shortly after he bought it in 2000.
It’s been parked in a hangar at the Jackson County Airport near Sylva, NC ever since then.
The aircraft is dusty from storage, but still in nice condition.
As far as we know, it has not been run since 2000.
The instrument panel was removed during a never-completed total rewiring of the aircraft, but we have it on hand.
The wiring harness was labeled during removal of the panel.
The Buccaneer will require at minimum the completion of the wiring job, a thorough inspection and annual before being flightworthy.
We have logs for this aircraft, along with much other paperwork including assembly drawings.
If you are able to go to the airport to see the Buccaneer, we can accompany you.

Please note that this aircraft should be relatively easily road-moved,
as it could have the wings removed on site, then be trailered away in any enclosed or open trailer that can handle a 20" long object.
