1997 Experimental/Homebuilt Osprey II Project (60% complete) Built by my father who began building planes in the 1930"s. His most recent finished project was a Volmer VJ22 Amphibian completed in the early 1980"s which he flew until the mid 1990"s. The following parts/structures are done: 1. Fuselage (on gear) 2. Vertical Fin 3. Elevators 4. Horizontal Stabilizer 5. Rudder 6. Cockpit Seats 7. Flight controls, rudder pedals & brakes 8. Instrument Panel 9. R & L Wing Spars 10. Cleveland wheels & brakes 11. Nose wheel 12. Gas Tank (installed) 13. Engine mount fixtures installed 14. 7 sheets a/c plywood 1/8 & 1/16 (4ftX8ft) Equipment includes: Lycoming 0-290G (rebuildable), A/C starter, Alternator, Fuel pump, Carburetor, S.S exhaust sys., Warnke Prop (3 blade), Magnetos, Strobe lights, antennas, oil cooler, many instruments & more.
