It has a fair reserve price--so happy bidding.Selling a 2001 Skyboy airplane (Light Sport Aircraft – LSA) with only approximately 60 hours of flight time for $28,000 or best offer. The owner just never got around to flying it much, so his loss is your gain. It has always been stored inside, and includes a custom cockpit and engine cover--so it is very clean. It has an N# (N215AA) and the airplane is serial #1401. It has a full enclosure with gull-wing doors and high-lift wings, a 100 horsepower 912 S Rotax engine and is rated at VNE 102 mph. It has Whalen identification lights and strobes on each wing. The battery is brand new and also have new tire but they need to be installed. Log books included. The interior consists of grey seats and grey carpeting and has a built in two way radio with head phones and intercom.It certifies as a Light Sport and only requires a valid driver’s license to fly. It will need to be fully inspected/gone through by a certified mechanic to bring it up to date. It needs some of the rubber components replaced (due to inspection requirements and normal aging). The brakes need to be looked over (at least bled if not rebuilt), due to the low hours of flight time. Other than that it looks like new.To transport the Skyboy from the hangar, the wings will have to be removed (which is fairly easy) so the buyer can trailer it home or the buyer can work out an arrangement with the property owner for storage at its current location.
