For Sale As Is: 2007 Robinson R44 Raven II Instrument Helicopter
Helicopter is blue with light grey cloth interior. 1900+ hours on hobbs. No damage history. Aircraft has been hangered. It has a 8 hole instrument panel and is set up for IFR training. Has dual controls, a 696 Garmin GPS. 2 Bose headsets are included.
Helicopter is still in use. I purchased the helicopter used in 2010 with about 800 hours. I had a preflight inspection done at the time of purchase which resulted in the main rotor being replaced at that time and a few other small items.. My son started with this helicopter while he got his pilots license. After he became certified we used it to allow him to build hours up before he started aerial spraying for crops. We"ve used it for 3 years for agriculture spraying our own crops and have decided we wanted to continue, it has a little over 300 hours of ag time. Due to the hours on the helicopter, I either have to rebuild it at 2200 hours or buy a new helicopter. As the timing would have it, 2200 hours would probably come up in the middle of crop spraying. We decided we"d rather invest in a new helicopter as my son really enjoys it rather than rebuild early. When I first bought the helicopter, I was not sure how much interest he would have in it. I did buy another Robinson R44 Raven II as we were very happy with the first one.
The helicopter probably spends 90% of time crop scouting/sight seeing. 100 hours inspections were kept up-to-date as were the annuals. All records are available. When this helicopter reaches 2200 hours it will have considerable value to due the fact the rotor will still have 800 hours on it and all the instrumentation that comes with this helicopter.
Please call Dennis at 815-541-4700 with any questions or if you would like to make arrangements to view the helicopter. It is located in Shullsburg, WI.
