You are bidding on a Christen Eagle that was damaged due to an emergency landing on a county road. Landing gear was ripped off causing the belly to come into contact with the ground.
This auction is for everything you see airframe related, the engine is not included in this sale.
Damage consists primarily to the front of the aircraft. The rear of the aircraft behind the canopy appears to be untouched. This aircraft could possible be repaired, the frame is twisted, bent and broken but could be repaired. The two bottom wings were cut off from the retreival guys. Top wing did sustain damage and might be repairable. Whats included? This would be a great long project or maybe a perfect donor for all those small hard to find parts. Please if you have any questions feel free to ask. Airframe Log Book, Special Airworthiness Cert.
