Up for auction is a 2006 Ultralight Mosquito XEL personal helicopter in very good condition with low hours. The Hobbs meter gauge reads 16.7 total hours and the serial number is MXE1004L04. Main rotors and tail rotor were removed for shipment and will require assembly. Helicopter has multiple factory options that includes an extra tank, storage pod, side window doors with upgraded instrument panel and an aircraft radio for communication. Helicopter comes with complete Assembly/Operating Manual per factory specifications with specific pictures and diagrams explaining the systems for this model of helicopter. Under FAA ruling, you do not need a pilot"s or rotor craft license to fly this Mosquito XEL helicopter as it is classified as an Ultralight aircraft; however, it is recommended any operator receive necessary flight training as this machine is a real helicopter and flies like the real thing. See my photographs for more detailed specifications as it flies up to 90 mph and has a service ceiling of 8,000 feet. This helicopter would be useful on a farm/ranch herding livestock, cows, horses, sheep or for predator control. Cost for a current kit is $38,000 plus all the optional equipment and the buyer must assemble the craft at the factory whereas this machine is ready to go at a substantial savings! Should you elect to have it factory built, you are looking at over $50,000 with options and a wait time of 9-12 months as most of the current production are drones or sold overseas with only 25% designated for the United States market. You may email me or call me at (702) 445-1620 for questions, history and/or additional photographs. Buyer will be required to make his own arrangements for transporting this helicopter from Pahrump, Nevada to desired location. Thanks for looking as I think this would be a great investment and pleasure to fly for any serious enthusiast. Current date: 2021-06-15
