Dragonfly Airplane Powered by a Rotax 912 UL/XP 95 HP engine. The XP comes from a piston and ring update about 150 Hours back, which raised the compression and thus the HP from 80 to 95HP. It has a six point engine mount and is very smooth with little vibration transferred to the airframe. The Prop is a Warp drive ground adjustable prop, strobes, Includes Landing Lights, VHF radio, Transponder (transponder does not seem to work), instrument lighting, cabin heat. Cruise 150 MPH. This plane has a carbon fiber reinforced canard wing -thats a big deal- Hydraulic Bendix toe brakes, it is easy to land and maneuver on the ground. The trim tabs in the back are for landing- kind of like flaps and can be adjusted for in flight attitude as well. Due to the shape of the canard wing this is not a good plane to fly in rainy climates but is a fair weather plane. Defiantly one of the best built Dragonflys or Q2s you will find, always hangered but I am not flying anymore and am loosing my hanger so I need to sell it. This plane is being sold for the price of the engine and prop alone and it does not come with an airworthiness certificate- you would need to have an A&P certified mechanic sign off on it then fly it in close proximity to your home airport for a limited time before you could take passengers in it.
