I am not a pilot or an aviation enthusiast, so I can"t really tell you a whole lot about this plane. I bought it to put on top of my barn to advertise our farm. However, we have had a change of heart, and realize now that the New York elements are likely to destroy this plane within a few years, and that would be a shame.
Here"s what I know about the plane:
-Somebody started this project in the 1980"s, and never flew the plane.-According to a pilot friend, it wouldn"t take much for this plane to be airworthy.-I don"t believe the 1/2 Volkswagen engine has ever been run, but turns over freely. -I do not have a prop for it.-The plane weighs 325 lbs and has a wingspan of approximately 27 feet.

The overall dimensions of the Bobcat are: fuselage is 15" long, tail width is 7" and the height at the top of the windscreen is 66".I also have the aluminum wings supports and a box full of plans and journals that were kept while the plane was being built.
