This is a beautiful airplane that is a pleasure to fly. It has been very well cared for. Annual completed in October with compressions all 78. The engine runs great and I regularly fly it to TN to see family (roughly 12 hours round trip). Regular oil analysis shows the great condition this engine is in. Oil burn is about 1 quart every 12.5 hours (I add one quart between 25 hour oil changes). New Sky-Tec lightweight starter and carburetor in 2015.
The avionics are in great shape. The GPS was removed to be used in another plane (all wiring is still there including slaving to the A/P). Just about everything in the dash has been gone through in the last several years. Everything works.The autopilot makes cross country flights VERY comfortable with altitude hold. The Autopilot controller was overhauled in 2014. New DG in 2014. Transponder overhauled 2012. New Encoder 2012. New audio panel 2014. Overhauled VSI 2015. New AI 2015.Call with any questions.
