1981 Beechcraft Sierra, N18372, C24R, SN: MC-764 TT-3823 SMOH-423 This is an extremely comfortable aircraft with a much more spacious cabin than most other 4 place aircraft in this category. In addition, it has cabin doors on both sides making entry and exit of the aircraft much easier than Piper or Cessna models. The baggage door is HUGE making it simple to load luggage, folding bikes, camping gear, etc. And it’s a Beechcraft…built like a tank. This aircraft has been owned and pampered by its current owner for the past 20 years. If the mechanic said it needs to be done, it got done. All logs are available from day one. It has a beautiful burgundy and grey Airtex interior installed 1999 and still looks almost brand new. The prop was overhauled in 2008. Digital EGT/CHT gauge, 4 place intercom with overhead jacks to avoid spaghetti, external power port, Tanis heater, canopy cover, tinted glass, wingtip strobes, dual King KX-155, KR-87, KN-84DME, KMA-24, GX-55 (inop). At last annual a small amount of metal was found in the oil filter so the engine was removed, torn downs and inspected by Columbia Aircraft. The cam shaft was replaced with new as were the main bearings. When reinstalled, all new hoses were installed. This was a complete IRAN inspection costing $17,000. There are a few chips in the paint but it still buff’s out with a brilliant shine. The aircraft is located at KLWM in Lawrence, MA. You are encouraged to come inspect and fly the plane prior to auction close.
