Here is a great project to a great airplane. Let me start from the beginning. I bought this airplane to restore. It sat for 11 years at the Elizabethtown KY airport. I disassembled the airplane, and brought it home where I started the process to get it in the present state. I completely stripped the paint, primed it & painted it as you see. the white paint has a little overspray on it from sitting in the shop & will probably need to be scuffed and another coat applied to make it really look good. I took the fuel system off and had it rebuilt. (have receipts) I replaced most of the hoses, even the flex hoses to the cabin. I have started the engine & it runs great. Tach shows 1380 hours on it. I have all the seats, even started recovering the front seat, have the back seat done. I would say I have 90% of everything you need to get the plane flying. I had the instruments checked and a couple of them passed inspection. Radios are toast. I have the side windows, NO front windshield. NO LOG BOOKS. I urge you to come look at the airplane before you bid. My opinion will be different than yours. I feel this is a great project & have came to the decision I have too much to do to ever get it done.
