“The only parts that I can say will be needed is some carter clips and some strips of bail wire to place on various connections for safety. You will also need a few feet of new gas line which was removed during storage. Skin is all good with some previous repairs in a couple spots and there is a couple small holes, very minor and some tape will easily fix. Plane is not setup to run or fly from it's current location. Please note: This sale is "as is, where is" and I make no claim as to the flight-worthiness of the vehicle. You are purchasing/flying at your own risk. You are welcome to inspect the aircraft with advance notice.Aircraft is complete as pictured and is in way above average condition, pride of ownership shows.Have lots of pictures please ask I will stand behind my description, but I am selling it as is and where is with no implied warranty and knowing that you will be flying at your own risk. This is a lot of fun but understand that you shall consider your safety first.”

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Hawk
model name / number: CGS
size / dimensions: 28 x 20 CGS HAWK ULTRALIGHT AIRCRAFT ROTAX 503 FULL INSTRUMENTATION
Someone is going to get a great plane at a good buy....
Out of room to keep all of my toys so now I have to purge.
As you can see in the pictures this was themed as a Army plane, with colors of yellow, blue and a flag themed rudder.
It is a well built Hawk and was constructed by a licensed aircraft mechanic who also is a pilot.
Let me be clear no corners were cut....
Plane is well built.....
Here is the information on the CGS HAWK
Bombardier-Rotax GMBH Gunskirchen
Model# 3869017
Bore: 2 x 72mm
Stroke: 61mm
Capac.: 496.7cc
Type: 503 53 HP.
BING 54 carburater
K&N filter
Powerfin composite aircraft propeller & Hub(newer propeller, and cost right at $500.00)
The airplane kit itself was around $15k minus engine & covering/paint/instruments/shipping/tax/etc.
So you can save yourself some serious money, not to mention LOTS of time building one from a kit!
Wing tip to tip is 28" 9"
Cockpit nose to tail rudder 20" 6"
Tail width is 9" 7"
All wings, tail, rudder, wing struts are all removable for transport.
These are saddled on the wheel assembly and then secured by strap to the fuselage.
Shipping dimensions are 6" 1" width with wheel assembly(these can be easily removed and it will narrow the fuselage to 2"
Length will remain constant at 18" 6"
Weight is approximatly 225 pounds( two men can lift it easily while a 3rd controls balances at the tail.
This is a "heavy" duty ultralight, it is all aluminum tubing and fuselage and wings are covered in aluminum sheeting and then skined with aero fabric, so I make no claims that it will pass FAR 103 or the 254 pound weight limitation. I estimate the weight around 225.
This unit comes with all the plans, specs, build sheets that gives all the details on how to connect all the pulleys and other items such as fuel etc.
Also to supplement the build sheets I have two disc that has well over a 100 close up pictures showing placement and hookups to the rudder, wing flaps, tail flaps, fuel, wiring, wing struts, and all the other connections.
Once you are familiar with the assembly process you should be able to accomplish this in appoximatly 30 mins. and its best with 2 people.
MADE IN AUSTRIA is the Rotax 503 Motor
Hours on rebuilt motor is less than 40....
Plane has 56 hours
Gauges are as follows:
Compass, Airspeed, Altimeter, EGT, CHT, Power Outlet, Tiny Tach Digital hour meter, Gas gauge, Vertical speed, Level gauge.
This also features Pilots air vent, underseat storage, side vent, door vents, cock pit inside dimensions are 24" x 48"dimensions are from gauge cluster dash so an additional foot can be added for leg room... plenty of room to accomadate a larger tall pilot.
Wired for radio(not included)
Voltage regulator by Key West, wires ran for 12 volt lights( no lights currently installed)
Foot controls, cables, control stick, hand brakes, all present and operational.
The Hawk has not been flown in almost a year, but with fuel lines and some wires connected as well as the reassembly of the wings, cables etc. it will certainly fly.
This unit was properly prepped and stored in a heated shop up until a couple months ago.
I have well over a 150 pictures but can only share in the listing a few, so if there is anything specific you wish to see please feel free to contact me or questions can also be answered by calling 503-935-6266
Please Note** this is a personal aircraft which does not require a pilots license
Plane is not setup to run or fly from it"s current location.
Please note: This sale is "as is, where is" and I make no claim as to the flight-worthiness of the vehicle. You are purchasing/flying at your own risk. You are welcome to inspect the aircraft with advance notice
I will stand behind my description, but I am selling it as is and where is with no implied warranty and knowing that you will be flying at your own risk.
This is a lot of fun but understand that you are to consider your safety first.
I will help in anyway as to shipping but you are ultimatly responsible for the shipping arrangments and cost. I however will secure the unit for shipping which includes disassembly and securing wings, cables, etc. and I also will shrink wrap motor and pilot cabin plus remove propeller and shrink wrap all pieces including wings, tail, & rudder.
As I stated up front someone is going to get a great buy on a fun toy.....
On Jul-20-15 at 12:31:26 PDT, seller added the following information:**This is an update: I located the fuel line and they are in place now so no additional line is needed....These is a power outlet for a GPSThere is a Trim tab and a cabled controller in the cockpit10, 20 & 30 degree wing flap settingPush throttle and a kill switchThe wiring for the radio has a push to talk button for mic, GA headset plug( still no radio located, but if I find it I will update/for now not included)I just had a friend who is a licensed pilot come and look this all over and he was astonished as well as impressed, he is interested but I told him he has to bid like everyone else.I just burned the 2nd cd with an additional 144 pictures that will go with the build sheets and specs.Thank you...
