I have a nice old 1949 Cessna 170A, very straight, no damage history, Basic VFR panel not all butchered up, Narco digital comm, transponder, current mode C check. Very detailed annual just completed before Thanksgiving. Next annual is due December 2017. Log books are very complete back to the original test flight on engine and airframe. 2845 total time on both engine and airframe. 205 hours since complete major overhaul to new specs in 2001. Engine overhaul was done right with all yellow tags, new parts, new cylinder assemblies, rebuilt accessories, etc. The engine runs perfect, compressions are all 76/80 or better, little or no oil consumption, no oil leaks, has oil filter. During last annual we installed a new 1 piece windshield, new tailwheel main leaf spring, I rebuilt the Scott 3200 tailwheel, new 700x6 main gear tires on Cleveland wheels & brakes, and a few other things. This airplane runs and flies perfect, paint and interior is rated at a 7+ out of 10. There"s an old Loran and Genav radio shown in the pictures that I can remove or leave them for you to do with as you please, they are no longer usable and are just dead weight. I don"t think you will find a nicer, better flying 170 anywhere for the money with a low time engine, especially one this straight. I will deliver this aircraft within 200nm at no charge as long as you agree to provide me with a way back back home(take me yourself, cover the rental car price, etc,) or top off the tanks in the airplane that comes to get me. I can also deliver or arrange delivery anywhere within the lower 48 United states for $200.00 a day plus expenses.
