1963 CESSNA 172 E Skyhawk
The plane is straight and shows no evidence of major repair. There are small dents, scratches and blemishes due to mishandling but nothing needing immediate attention. The fuel tanks have been cleaned and tested and are ready to install. I have purchased all new AN/MS hardware for the reassembly including wing and strut bolts. The radios are original. The interior was mostly. The windshield is near new, prop is polished and seats have been completely redone with premium foam and material. There are no aircraft or engine logs. The engine appears to be recently overhauled and an AI did a run up, bore scope, compression etc and concludes the time on the Hobbs (52 hrs) could be correct. The tach shows 2938 hrs. There are no log books. I trailered the plane to a rented hanger in San Diego where I have been working on it daily. The plane can be loaded and trailered. The wings are ready to install. I am happy to show the plane by appointment and answer any questions. I"ve enjoyed the project but health will not let me continue.
