Chinook Plus 2 Two Place Experimental Lightsport Low reserve! with Hirth 65 hp. 2706. Airframe has 0 time engine has has less than 1 hr. since full rebuild.I just finished building and found out my local airfield is closing. Aircraft is beautifully built both the kit and all work and extras performed. I have set a low reserve on this which is under what just the kit is now available for, minus the engine, paint,instruments,extras and the 600 plus hours that has been invested into it.Some of the features include... Electric flaperons, electric boost pump, tundra tires, hydraulic brakes, electric start, steerable tailwheel, open able front Lexan panel for access to rear of instruments.Custom aluminum-fiberglass pilot seat, Custom door latches with carbon fiber surrounds. Instruments include VSI, electric turn and bank indicator, front and rear airspeed ,Dual CHT, Dual EGT, Front and rear tachometers, Altimeter, Intercom, Micro aire panel mount comm radio, Full circuit breakers, Custom battery box, Aircraft is constructed from aluminum and Stitts poly fiber fabric and is painted with Aerothane Piper yellow and struts and control rods are painted with Aerothane bahama blue. This plane is loaded with options and all work has been done by mechanic owner. Wing washout adjustments have been made all aileron and elevator adjustments have been completed. The Canadians really did a beautiful job on this kit and the company is still in business although now down in Sealy Texas under the name Aeroplane Manufactory. The people their are very helpful and all parts are still made and available. I presently have the wings removed and stored in overhead racks in my garage. The aircraft has been in a heated tent structure while I was building. I have all build manuals owner manuals and all recpts. including orig. bill of sale. Empty weight is 406 lbs. Gross weight is 1050 lbs and the Useful load is a huge 644 lbs. the length is 17 " 8" height is 5"10" Wing span is 32" This aircraft transports easily on a 14" landscape trailer that is a min of 6"6" wide and since the gear is that wide both wings easily fit under the gear using straps and protection of course.
