All of the big parts (aluminum frame tubes) appear to be present, but I cannot say for sure that there isn't something missing. The aircraft is definitely missing hardware, bolts, brackets, and other items. The fabric for the wings, tail, and rudder will need to be repaired or replaced as it is torn or shredded in many places. The tires are flat and do not hold air. The aircraft is currently partially disassembled as shown in the photographs. Includes a Chotia 460 motor that is complete, but will need a rebuild as it does not turn over by hand. There is an Arrowprop wooden propeller included with the motor as well.” |

This auction is for a Chotia Weedhopper Ultralight Aircraft project. I purchased this several years ago hoping to rebuild it. I believe it is either a Chotia Model 40 or JC-24C but cannot say for sure. The plane is in a state of disassembly as shown in the photographs. Please read item description carefully for a complete condition report. This would be a great project to rebuild and enjoy, or useful for parts on another ultralight. Unfortunately I am moving hangar spaces and cannot take this with me.
There is plenty of information online about the Chotia Weedhopper line of ultralights, so I will not be copy-pasting it into this auction.

Shipping & Handling:
NO SHIPPING. Aircraft must be picked up at ARB airport no later than March 29, 2020. I can assist with disassembly to fit into a trailer or pickup truck; note that the main wing tubes are more than 25 feet long.
