“Unfinished Project w/o Engine”
This LOADED and refined version of the Comp Air 6 sports a wider cabin (46½"), 100% mass balanced controls, larger tail surfaces, aerodynamically efficient "raked" windshield, flush-fit doors for quieter cabin and drag reduction, and flush-mounted landing gear. Recommended powerplants range from 250 to 385 hp. For those seeking ultimate capabilities, the airframe can be built to accommodate engines as large as 650 hp (i.e. Walter turbo-prop), with Vne as high as 257 mph indicated, and useful load up to 1670 lbs.

Fiberglass work is essentially done. Much of the fiberglass work was done under the supervision of the factory. The plane was actually primed ready for paint but decided to change a couple items that will still need some minor fiberglass work to complete. Majority of the work remaining will be in assembly and mounting engine of your choice.
Project does not have interior or instruments. Comes with hardware, brakes, and controls. Does need tires. Was being built around the idea of putting a TIO540 in it although engine was never mounted and project will not come with engine mount.
Will be an amazing aircraft when completed. I do wish I could devote the time to finish it. Last time I checked the kit was over $50k and there"s been much more invested since then. Listing it SUPER low as my wife says we have to cut our losses. Current date: 2018-04-12
