| The Elite Simulation IGATE PCATD is an FAA approved Advanced Aviation Training Device. This is a flight simulator that is designed to help student pilots learn how to fly. The PCATD is composed of a dash that has all the switches that you would see in a real aircraft along with a radio stack and central monitor that can simulate various types of instrument clusters. The pilot controls consist of a yoke, rudder pedals and an interchangeable power quadrant. Three different power quadrants are included: Single Engine Piston, Multi Piston, and Multi Turbine. The instructor has a separate control station that includes a computer and monitor. The outside view of the environment is provided by an included projection system. The simulator runs on Elite v.8 software. |
