The engine was built last year. It has to date around 70 hrs on this new engine. Its not quite broke in yet. It will run even better the longer it runs or the more hours it gets on it. You can call Scott Casler who owns Hummel engine and ask him about this engine. I love this engine.
This is the biggest 1/2 vw engine scott makes. It has the biggest jugs and pistons, the largest crank and rods that will fit into one of these engines. Its the 45 hp 1/2 vw.

This airplane has some hangar rash from spending time in a trailer. Its not perfect in any way. But flies very nice and runs great. To date the airframe has around 175 hrs on it.
I purchased another airplane and need this sold. I don"t have hangar issues so its not a space problem. It should got o someone else who will fly it. I am done flying it.
