Ballistic parachute this plane 14 to one glide ratio, this plane in a thermal went to 21,000 feet over the Tetons in Wyoming. This is a fun airplane to fly and safe this plane and engine have no logbooks the reason for that is the plane was built by Utah State University in Logan Utah. I talked to the professor at the University and the reason for no logbooks was they did not want the liability if something went wrong in the building of the airplane, but I did talk to him he told me that the engine and airframe had 315 hours total time, so when they sold the plane they sold it as salvage so the University would not be liable. |
