This is a very versatile airplane. Solidly built and German engineered, it has proven very reliable through many years of service. Airframe number 6126 endured a hard landing and needs some TLC. The fuselage repairs are complete, now the interior needs to be reassembled (see example in photo) and install the gauges and control linkages. Landing gear AD complied with, new tires and brakes.
The wings need some fiberglass work and the propeller needs new blades. The instrumentation alone has significant value and the plane itself is beautiful. This design can be used as a motor glider; the engine can be turned off once you are at altitude and, after feathering the prop, soaring for hours is not unusual.
**Update: The wing damage is contained to the right wing. Two holes that need to be repaired. Another option would be to find a replacement wing. Several 109 projects have been for sale in recent years.
Limbach engine only has 655 hours.
