This gyro was built for me through Vortech and is based on their Sparrowhawk design although there were changes made. It has castor style nose wheel steering instead of the traditional direct linkage. I took delivery in 2011 and flew crow hops with it until I had a rotor strike which caused a bent mast, bent vertical stablizer mount, split fiberglass vertical stabilizer and broke mount on one main brake. The rotor is ruined. This would be a good project for someone who wants to get a jump start. Possibly could be a legal ultralight with Dragon Wing rotors and replacing overbuilt parts. I will work with the buyer to arrange pick up or shipping but it is the buyers responsibility to arrange shipping.
