Payment is cash, wire or verified cashier’s check. Please do not bid if you are not in the USA or you do not have funds lined up ahead of time. Every time you see one of these advertised you see will need belts and hoses and so on. If you’ve never built or worked on one of these installing and setting up main drive belts or installing a cog belt drive, upgraded main shaft correctly is a serious job and very costly. I’m posting to explain some of the maintenance and upgrades I have completed within the last 5 hours.. Wiring harness upgrade was complete removed and installed with 162 harness. The fuel systems I removed the tanks installed new fuel regulator, fuel lines, fuel filter, tested pumps and fuel gauge for proper function. Removed main shaft and replaced lower and upper bearings with 1 ¾” setup, Replaced 6 drive belts set and aligned to Rotorway spec. Replaced fan bearings and drive belt. Replaced alt belt. Removed tail belts and inspected every part. Replaced all tail drive belts. Installed new 1 ¾’ main shaft set from Rotorway along with new cog belt then adjusted and aligned for proper operation. Installed new elastomeric bearings, rotor tach pickup. Adjusted plus and minus pitch per Rotorway spec. Blades were rebalanced and aligned with mew strap bolts installed. Cyclic throw was set per Rotorway spec along with collective range. Electric clutch engagement was adjusted for proper drive belt tension when actuated. Oil and antifreeze was then changed. New spark plugs installed. New battery installed. I’ve then started and ran the heli for 30 minutes stopping to check and reset belt tension and alignment. I did this every 30 minutes for 5 hours unit the tension and alignment was perfect and belts were broken in. I started at the tail and went to the front inspecting every nut, bolt and rivet for proper instillation. Last pictures shows machine during upgrades. Current date: 2015-12-29
