2013 Just Aircraft Highlander S/N JA278-10-12 Ultralight Aircraft Here is your opportunity to get yourself that project that is small, not to hard and not to easy but enough to challenge you. This auction is for the 2013 Just Aircraft Highlander that experienced a groundloop after making an emergency landing due to crossed cables. This aircraft has ZERO time on it, it was on its first flight when the ground loop happened, just got off the ground then the pilot realized the controls were backwards and made the landing. Just Aircraft LLC makes ultralights that look similiar to the KitFox. They are based in South Carolina and have the parts available to fix this little bird. The Highlander is a versatile aircraft with great performance capabilities. The cockpit is 44" wide and over 30 cu. ft. of cargo area. The plane has adjustable seats and there is plenty of cargo room to haul everything you need for that hunting, fishing or cross country trip. This plane is set up for Skis but they are not included. The Highlander has the same great features as its predecessor the Escapade, but with all the great upgrades to make it the ultimate back country bush aircraft. The Highlander is manufactured with all high quality aircraft materials. The power and light operating weight, coupled with 121 square foot of wing area, allows the aircraft to take off and land with a ground roll of 300 feet. The Highlander also has an impressive 880 feet per minute climb rate. The Highlander includes:

My "Buy it Now" price saves you $20k!!! You can do alot with $20K! Now this is a project, the firewall will need to be changed out, its just thin stainless steel. I didnt see any damage to the gear box area, only to the tail and a couple of cross tubes over head at the wing attachment area. The spring on the tail wheel broke, and the right wing will need replacement or repair. The left wing looks good and straight. No damage to the lifting struts, this is a project so there may be a few little things that I missed. Please review the pictures, you are getting exactly what you are seeing. As you may have noticed the aircraft has Canadian Registration on it. I purchased the aircraft in Canada and it is currently located in Phoenix AZ. I did not receive any paperwork from the old owner, no airworthiness, no registration, just a signed generic bill of sale that you will be getting from me.
