* Aircraft fuselage is complete and on tricycle landing gear. * New wheels, tires and brakes. * Instrument panel is complete with full IFR capability including radios and transponder. Needs to be wired in. * Wings and ailerons are complete and ready for paint. Includes in-wing fuel tanks. * Dual control sticks. * Newly overhauled Type 4 VW engine with fuel injection and dual ignition, installed on aircraft. * Once finished this aircraft has a range of approximately 4 hours, including the reserve fuel tanks in the wings and a cruising speed of approximately 190. * According to the KR2 website the weight is: Empty weight 480 lbs. and Gross weight 900 lbs. The HP is approximately 65. * The plane needs the following to be completed: Canopy needs to be made - mold is complete Wiring needs to be done Cowling needs to be made Seat needs to be upholstered & installed Material for windshield is included but the windshield itself needs to be made Control sticks need to be hooked up Fuses Paint Propeller *My father-in-law bought this aircraft partially build and was in the process of finishing it but he passed away before it was completed. We are still going through his things but we do have a partial builder"s log and some photos of the building process. * This plane has never been registered.
